Piedmont hazelnut I.G.P. cake

  • Piedmont hazelnut I.G.P.  cake.

Hazelnut cake is a tipical dessert of the Langa’s tradition, our versione of the ‘granny cake’, with hazelnut flour only.
Here’s how to prepare it! 

Ingredients

  • 150gr. Hazelnut flour
  • 50gr of butter or sunflower oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 150gr Brown sugar
  • 1 Rhum spoon

Preparation

Blend the sugar with the butter or the oil with a electric whisk if needed.
Add the yolks going on blending, the Rhum spoon and at the end the hazelnut flour.
In a different bowl whip the egg whites. Mix them to the mixture blending form the bottom to the top to keep them whipped.

Put in oven at 175° for 30 minutes. 
You’re classic Hazelnut cake is ready!
