Salted muffin with hazelnut

  • Muffin Salati con granella di nocciole.

Ingredients

  • 225gr. Of flour
  • 2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 8gr of yeast (not vanilla flavoured!)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 80gr of melted butter
  • 1 yogurt (125gr)
  • 2cl of milk
  • 50gr of hazelnut grain
  • 200gr of bacon

Preparation

  1. Slice the onion and put it in a pan with the hazelnut grain. Sweat together and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl mix the flour with the baking soda, the yeast and the salt.
  3. In a different bowl beat the eggs, add the butter, the yoghurt and the milk. Blend very well. 
  4. This base can be used for any kind of salted muffins. Add the mixture in the pan  and blend.
  5. Add even the mixture in the first bowl and mix together. There will be clump, it’s normal.
  6. Fill the mold with the mixture and put in oven at 190° for 20 minutes.
  7. Serve cold.
