Roast with hazelnut

  • Roast with hazelnut.

Ingredienti per 4/6 persone

  • 800gr. Pork loin
  • 100gr. Hazelnut grain
  • 2dl. Of fresh milk
  • 1dl. Of fresh cream
  • 1 glass of dry white wine
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrott
  • 1 rosemary branch
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Finely mince the onion, the carrot and the rosemary and let sweat all together in a pan with some extra virgin olive oil spoons.
Put the loin in the pan and brown on all the sides.
Salt as you like.
Pour with the white wine and let evaporate for some minutes.

Put the cover on the pan and cook over a medium heat for an hour and half, pouring occasionally with hot milk.

Once finished the cooking, take off the meat from the pan and set aside.
Add to the cooking gravy from the meat the Hazelnut grain and the fresh cream, and mix together with the blender.
A little suggestion: for a more hazelnut and tasty sauce you can add some spoon of Hazelnut paste!

Slice the roast and pour it with the hot sauce.
Here we are, your Piedmontese roast is ready to serve!
